Prefire

Terms

Last updated and effective October 28, 2026

Prefire is Windows software made by Ean Soh, New Jersey, USA ("we"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By downloading, installing, buying or using Prefire you agree to these terms. Where the law where you live gives you rights these terms can't take away, those rights win.

What Prefire is

Prefire draws an overlay on your screen that shows where to stand, where to aim and when to throw before an Overwatch round starts. It doesn't change the game, read the game's memory, press keys or move your mouse for you. It reads the game's own settings file to check your field of view and display mode, and watches which window is in front so its keys work only while Overwatch or Prefire is.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 13 to use Prefire. To buy Premium you need to be an adult where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

Free and Premium

Free gives a limited number of lineups each week, counted on your PC, as shown in the app and on this site. No account needed.

Premium, Monthly or paid once, removes the weekly limit for one account on up to 2 of your PCs. Paid once never renews and has no end date, for as long as we offer Prefire. A PC that hasn't been used for a while gives up its place to a new one, and you can remove a PC yourself on the Account page.

Premium requests for new maps and heroes are looked at first. We don't promise when, or that a request is made.

Premium is checked with our server and keeps working offline for a limited time.

Your account

Your account is your email address. You sign in with a link or a code we send there. Paying with an email that has no account makes one. Don't share your inbox or the links and codes we send you. What happens under your account is your responsibility.

How we handle your data is on the Privacy page.

You can delete your account any time on the Account page, in Prefire or on this site. Deleting it ends Premium at once and cancels a Monthly plan, and the time left isn't refunded. The 14-day refund on the Refunds page still applies.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, isn't paid for, is used for fraud, shares Premium past its 2 PCs or abuses the service. Premium then ends, refunded only where the law requires it.

Paying

Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: Paddle sells Premium to you as our reseller, takes the payment, handles tax and sends receipts, and Paddle's buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Paddle shows the full price, with any sales tax or VAT, before you pay.

Monthly is charged when you subscribe and again every month until you cancel. Cancel any time with Cancel plan on the Account page, in Prefire or on this site, or through Paddle with the link in its confirmation email or at paddle.net. Premium stays until the end of the month you paid for.

If the monthly price ever changes, we or Paddle will email you 7 to 30 days before the new price applies, with how to cancel.

Refunds are on the Refunds page.

Overwatch and Blizzard

Prefire is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. Overwatch is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Game screenshots and footage on this site and in Prefire are © Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

Using any third-party program with a game is your decision and your risk, including any action the game's publisher takes on your game account. We can't speak for Blizzard and don't control its rules. If Blizzard objects to Prefire or a part of it, we may change or remove that part, or stop offering Prefire.

What you can't do

Copy, sell, rent or share Prefire or its lineup data. Take the app apart or change it. Get around the weekly limit or the 2-PC limit. Use Prefire to break the law or someone else's rights, or for fraud or spam. Attack, probe or overload our servers or this site, scrape them, or spread malware through them.

What is ours

The app, the lineup data, the overlay drawings and this site are ours or licensed to us, apart from the game's own screenshots and footage, which are Blizzard's. You get a personal license to use Prefire under these terms. You can't pass it on.

Updates and changes

Prefire updates itself in the background, and by using it you agree to those updates. We may change, add or remove features, lineups or maps, and a game patch can move a lineup. We don't promise future versions, features, or that any lineup stays correct after the game changes.

If we ever stop offering Prefire, we'll email account holders and say so on this site at least 30 days before Premium stops working. Monthly stops renewing then. Paid once ends then too, and is refundable only in its first 14 days.

No warranty

Prefire is provided as is and as available. We don't promise that Prefire or our servers will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond the ones in these terms, including the ones the law would otherwise read in, such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss or for anything that happens to your game account, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Premium in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if that is more. Nothing here limits a liability the law doesn't let us limit.

Changes to these terms

We change these terms only for a good reason, such as a change in the law, the game or how Prefire works. The date at the top changes when we do, and we email account holders before a change that affects them. If you don't accept a change, stop using Prefire and cancel Monthly. Using Prefire after the change takes effect means you accept it.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without taking away the protection the law of your country gives you as a consumer. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

If you live in New Jersey, all of these terms and the Refunds page apply to you as written, except that the Liability section doesn't limit a claim under New Jersey's Consumer Fraud Act or its Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act, or our liability for gross negligence, an intentional wrong or a personal injury.
